Repair of bed #2

Hi we have a king single slat bed whose side frame needs to be repaired/replaced. As you will see from the photos, the side frame attaches to the headboard via a tongue and groove arrangement. The groove has now extended to the top due to which the metal tongue is protruding at the top. The dimensions of the side frame is 2010mm long x 22mm thick x 130mm wide. There is a smaller wooden bar running along the inside on which the slats rest.
