Installing new TV and hanging a mirror on a wall

Hi there. I've purchased a new 43" Samsung Smart TV and I'm unsure how to connect it up to my Sky, DVD player and internet. The TV doesn't need to go on a wall - it will sit on a cabinet. I also have a new mirror which needs to be hung on a wall so that the hanging screws don't show. I'll be home on Monday afternoon if the tradesperson would like to do then. Karen
