Hi Team, I have lodged an insurance claim and am looking for a quote to repair water damaged chipboard flooring. What happened, A bidet in the toilet failed and leaked water onto the tiles in the toilet area, the water entered the through the grout and has penetrated the chipboard flooring underneath. The bidet has been removed by the landlord to isolate the leak, Underfloor insulation removed and dried under the house with dehumidifier in the space above for 1 week. Unfortunately the flooring swelled so much that the flooring is now uneven and tiles are moving causing cracks. Im requesting a quote for full replacement with treated plywood instead of chipboard, water proofing before click clack floor boards instead of tiles. The Joists have received moisture, but being hardwood framing it should not need replacement , however you be the judge. Plenty of photos to help.
