Job description

General Handyman Tasks
New Plymouth

Want to get a bath into the bathroom. There is plumbing from where a bath previously was (I have exposed the drain and copper piping). What will need to be done is: - Remove wall linings (gib board) as necessary, as well as flooring (lino) to make space for the bath. - Construct frame for bath to go into ( I already have the bath ) - Connect bath to plumbing (I have new trap + drain for bath. Also have plumbers putty if needed). - Back-fill area where drain is (I believe that Sand is normally used) as house has a concrete fountdation, and skim coat mortart over top. - Install new tapware (i have tapware) - Line walls with HardieGlaze (tile look), including around behind adjacent vanity (Newly installed, may need to be temporarily removed to allow for installation of hardieglaze). May be interested in tiling instead of hardieglaze, so an idea of how much extra that might cost would be great. I have: - Bath - Tapware - Trap + Waste for bath. Everything else would need to be supplied. I am wanting to confirm if it is worthwhile doing it myself, or just simpler to have someone come and do it all, so just a ballpark estimate would be great. As you will see in the pictures, I have had a bit of a stab at getting started, just a little difficult to find time with 2 little kids at home. May be able to just have a handyman do the work, and i will arrange the plumbing work to be done.
