Patching a Ceiling

Our 2nd story bathroom leaked on the kitchen ceiling causing our tenant to cut a hole to try and stop the leak until we could get a plumber in. That has been resolved but now leaves a gaping hole. I need someone who can patch it up for us. Our regular handyman has been flat out so unable to do it for us. I'm guessing that the hole size is about 500cm, but could be bigger - so will need to be checked. A quote would be appreciated.
