Roof & deck repair

Roof under deck is angled towards house with no flashing so water seeps into house. Ideally would like to have a deck providing it is weather-tight. There are 2 options I see: Option 1) Replace roof (approx 29m2) with some form of elevation so the water flows away from the house. Current deck will be removed & not replaced. Replace ranch slider with a new window so flashing can be used. Option 2) Remove roof and build new deck which would have a roof on top (not underneath). Need a builder/handyman who can identify best solution. Plus also there are numerous other handyman jobs for a major reno on this house eg new walls etc, windows etc if interested.
