Chicken Fence
Job description
Need to build/alter an existing part of a chicken run to enable locking in the chickens so they cannot run off and lay their eggs where we can't find them. Area is about 6x6 metres. Fence should be chicken wire and about 2 metres high, with a chicken wire access door.

Paul initially did a quick costing on materials which was 2x higher than actual cost. Job was done labour only. Paul's forte is cabinet making on which I cannot make any comment. Chicken fences and the like are not his cup of tea, although he will say he can do them. Paul does not have the builder's knack that Alan has. Paul came up with the practical ideas and solutions and together did they a good job. Both were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They were very accommodating with the extra requests/changes I made while work was in progress (that's why I chose to take the labour only road). Alan charged for travel time which I had not been told about.
