This work is through the National office -Women’s Refuge under National Home Safety Service/ Whānau Protect. This is a nationwide service that supports our clients and their children in staying safe in their own homes. The service includes a home safety improvement. Your work will involve strengthening areas in the home which could include window safety stays, replacing glass doors with wooden doors, installing solar security lights, changing locks, etc.
