To fix squeaking floor joists
Job description
We have a problem area in an upstairs bedroom. It’s a 2 storey house and the floor is particle board which has been carpeted. We initially thought the squeaking was due to squeaky particle board at the joins but a builder has already had the carpet and underlay removed, used screws and glue, and the squeaking is still there. We are now advised it’s probably associated with the floor joist, or joists, squeaking and we need someone experienced in this matter to fix them. The area where squeaking can be heard is approximately 1.8M x 1M.

BRT Builders visited us immediately after we selected them as a contact. We felt confident BRT had appropriate experience with 2 storey builds. The job was completed on time and most importantly was successful even though the cause of the problem turned out to be different from that initially expected. Junobs was very professional throughout, communicated clearly and quickly, and demonstrated good knowledge of the NZ building standards. We would use BRT in future and highly recommend them.
