Clothesline repair

Job description

Other (Handyman)
Christchurch

I have a home tenanted in Bassett Street, Burwood. The clothesline wire broke. I have bought some more and it is with the tenant. I need someone to restring it. It is a rotary clothesline. If interested you would need to make contact with the tenant ( via text is usually best) and make a time to go around.

Marv was quick to communicate and send someone around to do the job. But the workmanship was very poor. He said he would fix it up which he did but the whole process took a lot longer than it should. I had to email him to ask what was happening, as I hadn't heard from him for a while. As it was tenanted, it wasn't ideal. But he did fix it and the cost was reasonable.

Tradesperson reply
"Apologies Donna, My staff member should of never of left the job in the state he did. It was due to no tensioners being supplied with the line as we was labour only and you supplied the material. We had to order tensioners specially and wait for them to be delivered. Wearing the cost of the tensioners as compensation I thought was fare enough for a $75 job. It's good that your happy with the end result. Kind Regards Marc Sayers."
