We own a 10 year old Hobart H600 dough mixer. It's a 1 hp 230v 60hz 3phase unit shipped here from the US. We are opening up a shop in the CBD of Auckland that's been wired for single phase power. Instead of re-wiring the entire place for 3 phase power (expensive to do) we want to re-wire the mixer to run on single phase power. After reading online, it seems out mixer would run fine on single phase power, but starting the engine is the issue. We need a handyman that knows electrical wiring and (or) dough mixers, and (or) static converters to re-wire this mixer to run on single phase power...
