Window Sill Repair

1 x basement window sill that needs fixing/replacing due to some rotting. Our painter has started the external prep work on our house & found the window sill is rotted in one part. He thinks it may need replacing rather than using builders bog. On initial inspection the frame seems ok but happy to take advice if that also needs replacing. The joinery is new aluminium joinery, it's just the sill and/or frame that needs sorting. No scaffolding will be required to complete the job. Realise it's a busy time of year but need the job done ideally ASAP but within approx next 2-3 weeks so painter can complete his work rather than having to come back to complete the job. The window sill is the main job we need doing but would like a quote also to fix a board at the bottom of the house that is cracked (see photo).
