Installation of Cat Door

Requiring an installation of a new microchip cat door where there is currently an old cat door. Assuming we will need a new glass panel, as the current glass appears to be single glazed and we’ve been informed the microchip door should be installed in double glazed to avoid any cracking issues (happy to be corrected on this). We have purchased the cat door and mounting frame (SureFlap brand)
