We bought double glazed window panes, which my husband was going to replace our single glazed windows with, but he hasn’t had the time. We have 21 timber windows, and the double glazed panes for each of them. So the single panes will need to be removed, and the frames altered to fit the double glazed panes. Part of this will be routing out the window frames and installing some timber on the outside of the frame to hold the panes in place. We have the extra timber, but it will need to be cut to size.
