Lead light lamp repair

Hi, I have a lamp with some broken lead light glass and a broken bit of metal at the top of the stalk of the lamp. So the shade sits on the bulb and not a bit higher up. Might be a welding job that part, I'm not sure. Keen for it to be repaired.
