I am moving into a new rental in January and the landlord has agreed for installation of a cat door. The house is double-glazed. The landlord seems to think the standard way of doing this is to remove the existing glass and install new glass with a cat-door in it, then at the end of the tenancy the original glass can be re-installed. I'm not sure of the best way to do it, but it seems they don't want the door to be left permanently in the house, so the most cost effective way to install a cat-door, and then have it taken out again at the end of the tenancy, is required. At this time I don't know the location of the cat door (landlord suggested external garage door) or how big the pane of window would be. Once I find out (early January) I can update this job / discuss with contractors.

Hamish did a fast, professional job in a friendly manner. Great responsiveness to the initial questions and quote and a good price. Would definitely recommend.
