Sanding down/replacing prominent window beading #2

We have recently had retrofitted double glazed windows with prominent beading that's needs to be sanded back or replaced to the level of the window frame on our house. Job will need to ensure no damage is done to new glass, and no damage to adjacent window frame paint. Some beads require upto 5mm shaved off, others less. Would appreciate professional opinion regarding whether it needs to be sanded back or replaced, with quotes. Thanks
