Previous tenants at my rental property allowed the screws to fall out of the window latch. I went to HW stores but couldn't find any of the stubby little screws to secure it into the window, so had the bright idea of using another screw I figured would fit. Of course I over-tightened the screw and cracked the glass! Now need to replace the glass. I've measured it at 940mm wide x 1160mm tall. Also will need either new screws for the latch or I guess 2 new latches for the window. Window is on second-story and there's no real access to the outside of the window due to steepness of roof and trees/plants blocking ladder access. I think the glass may also be tinted, so presume that would need a tint film applied as well? The rental is vacant and ideally I'd like it done before Christmas, but any time in January is fine too.
