Safety glass needed in bathroom

We renovated our bathroom recently and changed the location of the bath. The good people at the local council now tell us we have to install saftey glass in the window! The window frame is aluminium - the total width of the glass (across both panes) is 1300mm and the height is 860mm. Because it's a bathroom the safety glass will need to be frosted or something.
