Safety glass install and seal repair

Have a window that I would like to change to safety glass. Current pane ~ 730x775mm. As pictured - timber frame. Have a number of other timber windows with old seals which appear to be leaking when it rains from different wind directions. Interested in discussing options to fix with trades person.
