Bosch gas water heater issues

We have a Bosch gas water heater and the water goes cold between 6pm-8:30pm in the evening. It used to only happen once a month so I never really worried about it, but it has been going cold for 3 nights in a row (so far). I am home during the day so I know the water is usually hot except for this period. We also have a gas stove which always works so it is not a supply problem. I think it was installed by the previous owners at least 5 years ago.
