Repair or replace gas califont

We currently have a Millen 10l gas califont providing hot water to an external building but it has started to be a bit temperamental and is not igniting successfully each time the tap is turned on. I suspect the issue is gas related as I can see the lighter sparking. I've replaced the regulator and batteries but this did not solve the issue. Am looking for someone to come and look at the unit and if it's an easy fix, fix it. If not, look to replace it with an externally mounted unit.
