Relocate gas regulator

Needing to move the gas regulator for my 45kg gas bottles. At the moment the gas bottles are about 6m away from my water heater. There's an existing copper pipe which needs to be shortened (or replaced with a flexi) so that the bottles are right next to the water heater. The ground will already be levelled off and pavers installed, plus the chain attachments ready. The nearest drain is about 3m away and the window above the water heater doesn't open.
