Electrics on oven

Have a fisher and paykel oven with gas hobs. Hobs and electrics work fine but oven won't go. Have had an electrician look at the back of it all works well. But they haven't worked with gass hobs so they didn't want to take the front off. Thinks it's in the dials. Mel ---
