Plumbing repair (vanities and washing machine)
Job description
The following jobs are problems that we have identified as new home owners. 1. Repair pipe fittings in laundry, kitchen and bathrooms (2.5 bathrooms) to stop leaks 2. Advise on gas installation (not currently on a concrete plinth and unsure of compliance of pipes and fittings 3. Where necessary advise on requirements to ensure compliance with building code and plummers & gas fitters Act 4. Swap dishwashers (we want to install a 2 drawer machine currently connected in our previous residence at Mangere with the unconnected machine sitting in Hillcrest). The Mangere machine is a bit complicated for me to disconnect otherwise I wouldn’t require disconnection – I am interested into whether you are able to work in two different parts of the city and whether you can lift and transport the two drawer machine (Hillcrest is a steep slope site, but I am happy to meet on site to help carry it). 5. Give a health check of the onsite waste water management system and advise on what maintenance may be required Future Project work I am also interested to get quotes for the following projects that we plan to implement over the next 12 months. 1. Relocation of gas supply to basement (if possible) 2. installation of a sump in laundry to avoid flooding 3. Advise on land drainage requirements to make the basement a dry storage area.
