Gas oven not getting up to temperature

3hrs of cooking a roast yesterday, and the roast wasn't cooked. Veges hadn't changed much at all. Flame was working the whole time, oven felt hot, but it obviously wasn't getting up to temp. Wondering who can check this out - there could be many reasons for it..
