stove-hob gas supply re-arrangement

The stove/hob cannot be pushed closer to the wall because of the distance the gas wingback/bayonet fitting projects out. A different fitting which retains the bayonet feature needs to be installed such that the stove hob can be pushed back another 25mm at least. The outermost part of the existing wingback projects out just under 80mm from the wall. The attached photos show the existing gas supply arrangement. The gas pipe enters at floor level and bends up to the gas wingback/bayonet fitting located about 525mm above floor level The other photo shows the gas pipe passing from the outside through the concrete block wall.
