Gas hob not working

I have a 5 burner gas stove top and the main one in the middle isn't working. I've tried cleaning it and checking the holes the gas flows through are clear but still no luck. The lighter clicks and the gas comes out (I can smell it) but doesn't ignite. The other 4 burners are fine though.
