Garden weeding with continuing maintenance

We have garden beds, one at back of section with a few shrubs and flaxes plus my plantings and smaller beds on the sides… plus one bed beside the letter box. I imagine the the initial job to take up to 8 hours with ongoing maintenance about 2-3 hours … so original work less than $1000 and ongoing maintenance about $200.
