Bark/Mulch - Needs laying down around trees or something similar

Job description

Gardening
Rodney

Hello I have a reasonably sized area around the back and down the sides of my house where there are a lot of plants and the bark has over time disappeared. It needs replacing and some of the weed matting will need fixing too. Both banks are quite steep and I don't know if the bark was the best suggestion/idea when we moved in as it is possible it 'falls' down the bottom quicker but perhaps there are suggestions of ways to prevent it or alternative products like rock/s to use. I want this to look REALLY nice and spectacular (if that's not too much to ask for) and there's a bit of a mini fence (about 6" high) around the perimeter of it that needs to be replaced and painted or some such thing to keep it looking better than it is. I also need someone who can cut back and prune the trees (not just chop/hack them up), take away the rubbish (and some non-green rubbish - a small amount) so it all looks nice and under control. It is not too bad it has been trimmed lately but I am wary of it getting too top heavy on some of them. I also have 4 lovely pohutukawa trees that have never been cut that need pruning too to keep the height under control and continue to encourage them to grow sideways and fill out. I have two magnolia plants in the front lawn which look very sad and have never thrived. Suggestions for fixing/removing to somewhere else or whatever appreciated being remedied hopefully. Down the side at the front by the driveway, there is two bottlebrush trees. There used to be three. We need another one put back in and for these to be trimmed and staked properly again as the wind is pretty vicious in that area. I also have a bunch of pot plants that need a) repotting b) they are dead c) can be planted. I have a pohutukawa three that has grown wild in the middle of my cactuses and if it isn't dug out soon it will probably grow through the deck :) I gave posted another job for the grass, so if you are also competent in that, please apply for both as I am possibly likely to get someone to do both jobs if there is the right person :P One thing, I don't pay for additional/extra travel costs. The job is here, so if you can't get here under your own steam without me paying you for that, then perhaps the job isn't for you. If you need to get materials that you genuinely expected not to need then the time to do that can be incorporated into the final bill however upon agreement, I want to get this done in a shorter time frame as possible - for example, if it takes a day and a half, the half is the day after the first day, not next week or whenever it can be squeezed in. I recognise that some things need to be left a week or so between stages, that's fine I just want any schedule set to be adhered to wherever possible. I pay in full immediately upon completion of the job. No exceptions. No partial deposits. (I may pay for some materials upfront upon delivery of them to my house, however - I'm not totally unreasonable :) :) I have a firm budget for this job (dependant on what products and requirements turn out to be - I know they differ costs) , and I want to see what you can give me before giving you my budget. I understand that can be difficult, but it means that you will give me your best quality information and fee rather than scaling down a job to fit in a budget then I end up with a less than a great job. I have several other jobs I am about to post so please look and see if they come under your umbrella and wish to apply for then please do it via that job. Please allow me a couple of days to sift through the responses before I get back to you. I will get back to all of you, but I'm not at my computer all the time. The best information you can give me in the first message to me will put you at the front of a standard non-informational email that is not used to my specific job. Thank you - I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I like to be clear with expectations on each side. I am in Whangaparoa/Gulf Harbour down off Gulf Harbour Drive into the suburb Fairway Bay. I'm in Pinecrest Drive. I will try and get some photos added shortly but at present, I haven't taken any. Or to send you via messaging. I hope to hear from you :) Regards Tracey M
