Weed removal from embankment

We own an industrial building on Breakwater Road in New Plymouth. There is an embankment behind our building which requires attention and removal of significantly overgrown weeds. We're looking to remove/kill the overgrown items that are close to the building in order to reduce fire risk in the coming summer months. We're by no means looking to turn the area into a garden just need weed removal to reduce risk.
