There were aspects of the job that I felt were haphazard and for which I wanted them to come back and complete to a better standard . Admittedly they did this,,,, but you got the impression getting the money was the driving factor,,,,, not your satisfaction with the job!!!! I would not use the company again . Also in my opinion, there is a discrepancy between who would be responsible for the job if you did not pay because " Dirty Jobs Ltd " turned up with a digger but "Green Gecko Gardens Ltd" got the job. Can you see where this is going ???? Overall - 2 out of 5

"Hi Paul Thanks for your review. We are disappointed to hear that you are dis-satisfied with the job. As I understand it you posted on Builders Crack to request that the landscaper return to site as you were not happy with the work that had been completed. They attempted to contact you immediately but were unable to get hold of you for 4 days. When you did respond the landscaper returned to site and completed an additional 1.5 hours to ensure that your garden was not only cleared of all bamboo as per your original quote but also turned over so you could plant directly into the garden without any labour to be done on your part. If this requirement had been indicated at the time of quoting this job, I assure you that would have been done on the first visit. Dirty Jobs is a group of professional and hardworking companies all working towards a common goal, to provide well organised, fairly priced services backed by exceptional customer service. I understand that this may have not been clear to you as we have not yet completed the branding process for all our partners and I apologise for this. Our aim is to ensure that all work is completed to the best standard and our customers are left happy with our service. I am sorry that this does not seem to be the case for you, however after investigation, I am satisfied that we have stood by our work and provided a high level of service. The phone call regarding your outstanding account was only made after the additional visit had been completed and payment had still not been received. I believe this to be fair and reasonable. The quote was to remove bamboo from a boxed garden, trim bamboo hedge and remove all debris. This took 2 men onsite a full day plus the digger and debris disposal. Your quote was $885.00 + GST. We believe a very fair and reasonable price. I assure you that our driving factor is and will always be satisfied customers as this is the only way to build successful and robust business in New Zealand. I am sure you understand that ensuring prompt payment of accounts is also a part of this. Again, thank you for your feedback we do appreciate as it has given us the opportunity to review and assess this job which is always a valuable exercise.
