It stops at a particular spot and when switch is pressed again, it moves, then stops again when the next pulley gets to the same spot. One has to pull lightly by the hand to see it through all the way. There's no issue with the shutter when opening the garage door

Garage door shutter does not close in one go

The pulleys stop at a particular stop while moving through the track at a particular spot while closing the shutter. One has to guide the shutter with mild downward pressure. On its own it stops multiple times ( 3 times) in one operation. No problem when the shutter is to be opened.

Hi My chain broke some time again. I think it was simply the chain link. However, it was due to the door motor pulling the door up fully, and the continuing to drive it up. The door still moves on the guides well. The door itself is fine. I would be interested in either a new chain, or potentially a new motor also - quote dependant.

Garage door doesn't stay up

The garage door on the left (photo) doesn't stay up and will gradually close itself. We think the track might be damaged? These doors can only be opened manually, and we're mainly just making sure that door stays up when opening manually for now. We don't live at the property so it would be preferable to get a quote today (22nd) or tomorrow morning (23rd) but the work itself can be later next week if needed.
