Broken cable and turning mechanism

We had a guy come about a year or so ago and replace the steel cable and turning mechanism on the inside of the door. It has since broken. The cable he used was very thin and the turning mechanism on the inside seems to have partially broken off. We want to keep the lock and handle on the outside (as we have a key for it) but would like to have a thicker cable put on and a stronger internal turning mechanism as per the pics attached. Can you please quote what this would cost. Thanks
