Assessment and repair of roller garage doors

We have 2x single roller garage doors with (probably retrofitted) Merlin openers on a '70s home. Both doors make a lot of noise when opening and closing, and the tracks are dirty and may have been greased by some well-meaning previous owner. There is slack in the doors when closed, and one door appears to not be rolling up evenly, i.e. the roll is fatter at one end when open. Tensions need adjusting as the doors drop heavily when the openers are disengaged. Looking for a good honest assessment on whether we need to repair or replace the doors, and a quote for repairs.
