I have an odd repair job for a rebar spring ball with a wooden base that has split during transportation during shipping. The wooden base has cracked from being dropped and has continued to now open up due to heat and moisture expansion. I was hoping that someone might be able to provide me with a quote to replace the wooden block and secure the spring ball rebar back into the centre of the block. The size of the wooden block is 200x200x420mm. I’ve now put cable ties around the base to stop the crack from opening any further. Is this something one could replace? I’m guessing a repair wouldn’t work? I’m based in Aongatete and can drop off for repair. Please find photos attached to this post.
