I have a Lazyboy chair. You lift a lever on the side of the chair and the footrest is released. The plastic housing has worn and is broken. Therefore raising the lever does nothing. The wire running from the lever to the footrest mechanism is okay. All I am looking for is a repair of some sort that will allow the footrest to still be used as required. It does not need to look pretty. I just do not want the chair to always be in the extended position.
