Couch repair

The "favourite" spot to sit on our couch has worn out. The leather itself is still fine, it's the springs and cushioning underneath that have gone wrong. The springs seem to have popped our or maybe the cushioning/sponge etc underneath has just worn through. It doesn't sit right though when looking at it and it's uncomfortable to sit on. The photo attached shows the left hand side looking normal and the right hand side with the problem.
