I have a wooden villa in Brooklyn Wellington, made in 1910. It has been repiled previously, but there are a couple of areas where the floor is bouncy and this has got worse in the last 9 years. Looking under the kitchen /living room floor I suspect that there may be one original pile as the floor slopes to this spot (see photo). In the bedroom a window will no longer shut and the floor is noticeably lower along one wall. If you look closely at the photo of the windows you can see that the bottom edges do not align. There is good under floor access, standing height in some areas and crawling in others. I would like some advice about the best solution to these issues and likely cost. I am hoping that repairs can be made in May or June 2017.
