Connect piles to the bearers

From the builders report - Piles are supposed to be connected to the bearers in the subfloor by way of a stapled wire or the like. No pile to bearer connections were sighted in the sub floor area. Where practical, we recommend the retrofitting of adequate pile connections (approx. 40), fitted by a suitably qualified professional. If possible, a joint quote for the above and below, and then a separate quote for each (in case we can only do one part now). The brick foundation at the rear of the dwelling (in the area of the wood-burner) is beginning to fail, and this is likely to compromise the structure including the wall and roof above it.
