Repiling our forever home

needing a quote on how much repiling a property will cost. I'm in the middle of buying property and have just had the builders go through and he said it needs repiling. Floor Area: 154m2 Year house built Approx: 1910 I am needing a quote quite urgent to present back to the vendors to maybe try and negotiate the price before unconditional. I did ask the builder who did the report for us. He's a semi-retired local man and said it might cost around $4000 but I think it's probably more than that.
