Job description

House Releveling
North Shore

Back of house and deck stabilised. Two timber piles at back of transitional villa not doing their job. Looks like they have been a problem in the past as these two are balanced on horizontal concrete bases whereas the other bases are vertical. They have become noticeable since the rain. They are in a bit of a hole - which seems very loose fill. (maybe an old soakpit from 1880's?) Outside evidence is the deck no longer flat where it adjoins the house. and the two piles under house have moved significantly. Access is easy - 1300mm height and plenty of natural light. IMG3861 shows access and the x show the two piles. IMG3871 shows the subsidence. IMG 3868 shows how much the deck has dropped - and IMG 3866 is top of front pile under house at Z1 and Deck at Z2 possibly explaining the drop in the deck.
