Steel Beam Installation

This is the start of a basement renovation. Two 180mm PFC C-Section steel beams need to be installed. The beams need to be about 4.2m long and will probably weigh about 20kg/m. The beams need to be supported according to the Council building consent. Therefore only a Licensed Building Practitioner ( LBP ) can carry out this work. The steel beams would need to be sourced. Please see attached scan of plan. Once the steel beams are installed, the existing four timber posts can be removed, and the soil floor can then be dug out in preparation for a concrete slab floor.
