Re-pile room

One of the rooms in our house is on quite a noticeable slope, we think as it is at the back (damp) part of the house that a couple of piles must have rotted out. Replacing will involve cutting a hole in floor boards, then replacing floorboards after fixing the pile/s. We have concerns about the rest of the house being damaged in the process, so would like someone with experience doing this in old houses, and that has some kind of insurance in case of damaging the house in the process.
