We have an old villa on the Thames Coast that we would like re-piled. We want the floor to be level, with long-term secure foundations for future house renovations. The piles are currently puriri logs set atop concrete blocks (see photo). The floor area is approximately 100 m2. The floor is not sloping or bouncing, so we expect the floor levelling would be minor. Access is good - estimated 0.5 to 1.5 m under-floor space. We have a tenant in the house at the moment, so the job would have to be non-invasive above floor, be completed efficiently, and with only minor short-term disruption to him. If you think building consent is required for this work, please mention this but don't include the cost in your estimate.
