I am looking for someone to come and do an inspection on the foundations of a house that I am going to sell. There is a crack around the concrete perimeter (close to the ground) which will need to be repaired, but I am also curious if there are any foundation issues that lead to this or why it has occurred? You can get under the house with a small trap door in one of the bedrooms (which has been used to insulate and rewire the house). There is no bounce in the floor and the floor remains level but since I am looking to sell I would like to turn over all stones to ensure the house is ready to go. There may also be some small cracks on the exterior chimney (which is now non-functioning) which need to be filled with a poxy-resin or similar. At this stage the current tenants will be out on the 25th of Feb which is when work can begin. Thanks in advance for your interest.
