New flooring for kitchen and bathroom, with some other possible work
Job description
I'd like new flooring in my kitchen and bathroom. I imagine it would be vinyl but am open to any other ideas. I also have some minor plastering and painting needed on a bedroom ceiling, after a recent roof leak. I'm listing the jobs together in case the same person is able and willing to do them both, but if not, I'm happy to consider their doing just the one, and I'll list the other separately. Also ... in the bathroom, the shower is over the bath and sometimes, no matter how I aim the nozzle, water has spilled over the side onto the floor. I'm a bit worried in case the floorboards underneath may have been affected. I wonder if there's anything that can be done to prevent future damage? Apart from that, the vinyl (I assume it's vinyl) is in good repair, but I've never liked black and white squares. And a while ago, a slight bulge appeared on part of the kitchen flooring. Again, I don't know what, if anything, this might mean. I've been asked to put in my approximate budget but I really have little idea of how much it would cost, so am open to it being more. That's the good thing about getting more than one quote.
