Remove the old stain from the deck and paint or re-stain the deck again

The stain on our deck looks to be patchy and coming away. We would like to have it redone by having the current stain stripped and either the deck be repainted or re-stained. There are two decks that wrap around the house. We can supply the stain and stain stripping liquid if this helps.
