We have a 1980s-built house with fiber board flooring. The flooring in the kitchen and bathroom creaks very badly. We have tried to screw it back down, but we have found that the boards are bowed and dwangs/nogs are likely needed. Can you install dwangs (there is reasonsable underfloor access)? The existing linoleum would need to be lifted, but not replaced.
