Job description

Vinyl Flooring
Selwyn

Moved into a new build in Lincoln on April 2021. Private contractors who installed the hybrid laminate flooring have done an unsatisfactory job. Contractors had glued down laminate and underlay when installing when install should have been left floating. Within a few weeks, flooring had started tacking (becoming raised when adhesive failed and made popping sounds when stepped on). Informed contactor who installed and is refusing to repair. (Currently in process of tribunal seeking full compensation) With all products supplied by myself, I am requesting a professional to: -Remove and dispose of current vinyl planking -install new underlay and new vinyl to a satisfactory standard. Some questions I'd like to ask before any professional undertakes this job will be: - are you able to remove toe kicks from kitchen cabinets to install flooring underneath and reattach without causing damage? -same question again but in regards to skirting boards and door framing. How long will you require to complete the job from starting to fully completed. From the house plans attached to the photographs of job please note that the area to be re-floored is shaded in red, and from rough estimates total area of 65m square. There is no current time frame on this job. I look forward to hearing from anybody regarding this job and welcome any questions regarding. Many thanks Dave.
